“Acapella Blues” by Robert
Bucchianeri is about a musician having a down turn on his life personally while
estranged from his wife and with his career.
Events change when he witnesses violent events next door, which pull him
into the complex, dangerous, and tragic world of the Eastern European
underworld. Motivated by a beautiful
young Romanian girl with her young son, he gains self-realization of the losses
in his own life. Some of the quotes in
this novel reflect the bare honesty of a man’s emotions that I found gratifying
to read. Congratulations, four stars!
